Kyla Bourgh, a local visual artist, curator and educator, is hosting a World Collage Day Exhibition + BYOC Collage Making Party.
This Saturday May 10th from noon to 7pm, come join this community event centered around collage-making. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just curious, it's a space to explore, create, and connect through the art of collage.
Supplies are provided in this free family friendly event taking place in the Main Hall at Z-Space. Collage artist @auroracaher (IG) will be available to share tips, answer any questions and provide a wealth of information regarding the medium and extended community.
In addition to this collage making event, Kyla has curated an international exhibition of collage artist’s in the first exhibition to be shown at Z-Space’s new Gallery space with projections by Clay Dixon @brother12osg (IG) (Vancouver) and Rico Jaime @rico_erre (IG) (Mexico) projected in the Main Hall. The opening reception happens 5pm - 7pm.

Z-Space is on the 3rd floor of the original Odd Fellows Hall at 505 Hamilton. Our main lounge is a co-working and community events space. Collages are installed for the duration of the event, and our Gallery space also has a high quality screen for digital artworks.
About Kyla Bourgh
Kyla Bourgh is a visual artist, curator and educator. Bourgh’s work fuses her writing and visual arts practices to create artwork with a deep thread of social engagement. A graduate of the Master of Visual Arts program at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in 2020, Bourgh engages with projects of her own art practice and curates exhibitions. She is director and curator of a hidden art gallery called Atelier 8.18 and has organized and facilitates a supportive critique group called CRIT and Art Coaches. Kyla Bourgh lives and works in Vancouver BC Canada in her home Atelier. She exhibits both internationally and locally.
